The Antidote

In an increasingly hostile and divided world, kindness can be a revolutionary act.

A documentary titled “The Antidote” explores what happens when everyday people commit acts of kindness–not randomly, but on purpose.

From a refugee program in Alaska to an Indianapolis motorcycle club overcoming racism, to a clinic in Boston washing the feet of the homeless, the movie follows several groups across the US, posing such questions as:

How do we raise our children? Who are our neighbors?
How do we welcome strangers to our shores?
And how do we treat those less fortunate?

In essence the film asks the deeper question:
How do we love one another?

Diversity, respect, faith, community, and more are explored, but the golden thread running through this tapestry, are stories of kindness.

“The Antidote” reminds us that how we treat each other matters,
that we matter, and something as simple as a smile, or an all-out good deed, can be a powerful tool for change.

Kindness is the glue that holds us all together, an antidote to the
darkness of today’s world, touching one heart and one life at a time,
and rippling out in waves of hope and light that will change the world.
