Everyone’s Nature

The Trust for Public Land is coalition of park lovers.

Founded in 1972, this national non-profit works to connect everyone
to the benefits and joys of the great outdoors.

Their creed is based on the conviction that all people need access to nature… close to home and in the cities and communities where they live.

TPL.org creates parks and protects public land
where it is needed most, as a matter of health, equity, and justice.

As of early 2023, they have preserved over 4 million acres of land and completed building over 5,000 parks, trails, and schoolyards across the United States.

Working with communities is at the center of all that they do.

They see this country and this earth, as a place where the health of the people is inextricably linked with the health of the land.

And that stewarding the earth includes creating opportunities for everyone to experience and fall in love with nature.

The Trust for Public Land believes that prosperity means not just food to eat and a roof over our heads, it also means breathing clean air, drinking clean water, and connecting with nature, no matter where you live or how much money you have.

A Healthy earth is a Wealthy earth for all.
